Hi, I’m Dorothy Boorse
I’m an aquatic ecologist who is on faculty at a small Christian liberal arts college. I love to write and love the natural world. I spend a lot of time wandering around and noticing things- and hope you will join me. While I have a lot of interest in natural history, new scientific findings, science education, women in science, care of the environment and science and faith issues , here, I will mostly enjoy the natural world of eastern Massachusetts.
A good friend of mine sent me a link to your website when I asked her about foaming pine trees during heavy rains. I saw them whilst picking mushrooms here in the southwesterly part of Sweden (google maps: Naturreservat Biskopstorp!).
I only want to write: Thank you for sending forward your knowledge!
Kindest regards
//Kjell
Hello! I took a video today on my run of what looked like eggs streaming out of a tree during the rain in Brooklyn NY by my apartment. Upon posting it to instagram asking for help I was pointed to your article
http://www.wonderofeverydaynature.com/2016/03/26/
Could I send you the video and you could let me know if that seems like what is happening here? Does it mean the tree will have further issues?
Thank you for your help!
